Changes coming for upcoming BC tourism conference
COTA has announced several changes for next year’s BC Tourism Industry Conference in Vancouver. For starters, the conference will be held in April instead of February, from April 18-20. The traditional “Sponsor Showcase” will become an industry tradeshow, programmed as the centre of activity for networking. In a bid to raise funds for the conference, COTA has started the “Tourism Supporter Program,” to allow the organization to hear directly, and represent operators and others engaged in tourism. For a fee of $100 per annum, this entitles members to a $100 discount off the full delegate package during the conference. (http://www.cotabc.com)
