Air Canada to launch Athens, Barcelona service

Air Canada will introduce Montreal-Athens and Montreal-Barcelona, as well as Toronto-Athens and Toronto-Barcelona, non-stop seasonal services between June 3 and Oct. 18, 2010. Air Canada flights will be operated using 244-seat Boeing 767-300ER aircraft. Flights will be operated six days a week, subject to government approval: three times a week from Montreal and three times a week from Toronto. Mexican officials respond to Mexicana suspending service

 Mexico's Secretariats of Communications and Transport (SCT), Tourism (Sectur), Economy (SE) and Foreign Affairs (SRE) announced actions to attend to consumers affected by the suspension of operations by airlines operated by Nuevo Grupo Aeronáutico (Mexicana Airlines, Mexicana and Click Mexicana Link).

Sunwing will have Montreal-Cozumel service

 Sunwing Airlines plans to begin Montreal-Cozumel service Dec. 22.  Air Canada has launched daily non-stop fights between Gander, Goose Bay, Wabush and Sept-Iles, Quebec.
