Tourism Ireland launches ‘Wish We Were Here’ campaign
Canadians have a chance to win a trip for two to Ireland through Tourism Ireland’s newly launched “Wish We Were Here” online campaign, which runs through Oct. 30. The interactive campaign site http://www.discoverirelandtoday.ca/photoalbum incorporates its new brand, “Go Where Ireland Takes You,” by taking viewers to Ireland through a personalized Ireland photo album and contest. The interactive photo album’s “Picture Yourself in Ireland” theme allows viewers to upload photos of themselves and their friends to create a personalized journey. Viewers can picture themselves in some of Ireland’s most stunning locations, from the Giant’s Causeway to cosmopolitan Dublin. The campaign’s viral element allows contestants to enter the contest then invite their friends to enter – the more friends they send it to the more chances they have to win. The winner will receive a seven-day trip for two to Ireland, including roundtrip airfare to Dublin, six night’s hotel accommodation with two nights in Dublin and one night in the five-star Ashford Castle, and car rental.
