WestJet launches new service to Miami
WestJet is launching new seasonal non-stop service between Toronto and Miami, Florida. The airline is now flying between Toronto and Miami five times per week until Dec. 17, when the frequency will increase to daily service.
"We are very excited about this new service," says Bob Cummings, WestJet's executive vice-president of guest experience and marketing. "The response has been terrific so far and we are confident it will be extremely popular throughout the winter months. We would like to thank our guests who will be travelling on this new route and hope they'll spread the word."
One-way fares, available in both directions on non-stop flights only, are available from $89, plus applicable taxes and fees. WestJet Vacations offers customized packages to Miami starting at

WestJet adds more sun routes

WestJet is planning to add service to more sun destinations this winter. Starting Dec. 11, the airline will have non-stop service from Quebec City to Cancun every Saturday until April 30. WestJet and Calgary-based Big Rock Brewery are teaming up to make Big Rock's best-selling Grasshöpper wheat ale available for purchase on board all flights.
