Barbados prepares to showcase its cuisine

 The first annual Barbados Food & Wine and Rum Festival is slated for Nov. 19-22 and will feature a host of events focusing on Barbados food and rum. Among events will be Nov. 20's Rhythms of Rum Cuisine at Mount Gay, with Mount Gay billed as "the rum that invented rum."
