Globus puts Greece and Turkey on sale
Globus has put three of its most popular itineraries to Greece and Turkey on sale for all of 2010. Travellers can save up to $1,160 per couple when booking their trip by the end of this year for any departure next year, and enjoy a holiday which combines a cruise in the Greek isles and to legendary ports in Turkey along with a stay in Athens. The cruise portion of the seven-day Aegean Legends tour visits Crete, Patmos, Kusadasi and Mykonos over three days; while the Jewels of the Aegean features the same ports of call on its four-day cruise, plus a stop in Rhodes. Also available is the 11-day Splendors of Greece and Turkey which adds a stop in Istanbul during its seven-day cruise.
“These cruise-and-stay programs are incredibly popular – and with good reason,” says Stéphanie Bishop, managing director, Canada, for the Globus family of brands. “Imagine combining a relaxing cruise with some of the most beautiful scenery in the Mediterranean, plus a stay in historic Athens.” These Globus vacations feature cruising on the Louis Cruise Lines’ MTS Cristal or Aquamarine, both spacious ships featuring at least eight decks, a swimming pool, casino, gift shop beauty salon, and, on board the Cristal, a spa and duty-free shopping area.
