Hilton to open in Mexico City

Hilton Worldwide will open its first managed, full-service Hilton hotel in Mexico City on Dec. 2. The hotel is located steps from the city’s Reforma Avenue and will be offering guests an introductory rate starting at US$99 per night. Currently known as a Sheraton, the 458-room property will complete a series of upgrades to incorporate Hilton brand standards prior to its official conversion and opening as the Hilton Mexico City Reforma. Hilton Toronto Airport completes renovation

 The Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel & Suites, located directly across from Pearson International Airport, has completed a nearly two-year, $15 million renovation project.  Hilton Hotels has reflagged the Rosemont Hotel at O'Hare as Hilton Rosemont/Chicago O'Hare. More than US$15 million has been invested in renovations to the property including the guestrooms, corridors, lobby, health club, meeting rooms, restrooms, conference centre, grand ballroom, onsite dining areas, exterior landscape and new porte coche. Hilton Columbus Downtown breaks ground

 Hilton Hotels has broke ground on the new Hilton Columbus Downtown in Columbus, Ohio. The convention headquarters hotel will be located on the west side of High Street connected to the SMG-managed Greater Columbus Convention Center and Nationwide Arena. The US$140 million, full-service convention hotel is expected to open in fall 2012 and will feature 532 rooms, 48 suites and 2,052 square metres of meeting space,

Savoy Hong Kong set to reopen

 The Savoy, A Fairmont Managed Hotel, in Hong Kong is set to re-open on Oct. 10, 2010. The property has been undergoing a major restoration since it closed in Dec. 2007. Work on the property included The Savoy's entrance, the American Bar, the Savoy Grill and its 268 rooms and suites.
Once open, the Savoy will feature the new Beaufort Bar, as well as the new Savoy Tea, tea shop; plus the Savoy Grill will return
