For the 16th year in a row, Sandals Resorts was named the Caribbean’s Leading Hotel Brand at the 16th Annual World Travel Awards held Nov. 7-8 in London, England. In addition to this distinguished honour, Sandals Resorts and sister-brand, Beaches Resorts, also enjoyed top nods during the event taking home the most awards (10 in total) of any resort company honoured during the ceremony. The Caribbean resort company’s top honours included: World’s Leading All-Inclusive Company – Sandals Resorts International (14th year); World’s Leading Family All-Inclusive – Beaches Resorts (12th year); World’s Leading Family Resort – Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa (third year); Caribbean’s Leading Hotel Brand – Sandals Resorts (16th year); Caribbean’s Leading Family All-Inclusive – Beaches Negril Resort & Spa; Antigua & Barbuda’s Leading Resort – Sandals Grande Antigua Resort & Spa (third year); Bahamas’ Leading Resort – Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort & Offshore Island (fifth year); Bahamas’ Leading Hotel – Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort & Offshore Island; St. Lucia’s Leading Resort – Sandals Grande St. Lucian Spa & Beach Resort (fifth year); St. Lucia’s Leading Spa Resort – Sandals Grande St. Lucian Spa & Beach Resort.
