ACV Expands CruiseAir Program

Just as the “World’s Largest Cruise Sale” week – created by Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) – sets sail on Oct. 6 through Oct. 13, Air Canada Vacations (ACV) has launched its newly expanded CruiseAir program, giving passengers booking a cruise with ACV greater flexibility when selecting flights.

According to officials, the CruiseAir program takes the hassle out of getting to the cruise. Through service on board Air Canada and Air Canada rouge, ACV customers have access to a wide selection of flights to popular ports of embarkation, including new flights to Amsterdam, Rio de Janeiro, Venice, Barcelona and Paris. Passengers can select the flights that best suit their individual needs.

As an extra incentive for travellers booking a CruiseAir package during the “World’s Largest Cruise Sale,” ACV is offering exclusive air savings to select destinations. Passengers travelling to New York and Europe can save up to $100 per couple on air; and passengers travelling to Florida and Hawaii up to $150 per couple on air. These savings are available through Oct. 13.

As with all Air Canada Vacations bookings, there are additional advantages to simplify the travel experience with the CruiseAir packages:

  • Flights can be held with a minimum refundable deposit of $100, with no cancellation penalty up to 30 days prior to travel;
  • The “Best Price Guarantee” ensures passengers’ book the CruiseAir package for the best price on the market;
  • Should a flight be delayed, the “Flight Guarantee” means ACV gets you on the next available flight, so you can catch up with your cruise.

And, for a limited time, travellers booking cruises can earn 50% more Aeroplan Miles on each flight segment, for bookings made by Oct. 31.
