AMResorts has introduced a number of innovations to AMRewards — the company’s travel agent loyalty program. The new booking engine makes it easier than ever for agents to redeem their points for a stay at one of AMResorts’ 52 properties.
Jan LaPointe, vice-president of strategic planning retail sales North America for AMRewards and sales & marketing for Canada, observed, “Since we launched AMRewards three years ago, every enhancement has been developed based on our travel agent community and advisory board’s valuable feedback. This booking engine gives agents the power to book all on their own, using an online platform available 24/7.”
Agents can now check availability and make their reservations in real-time at AMResorts’ properties in Mexico, the Caribbean, Costa Rica and Panama.
Additional benefits for agents include that the booking engine will automatically check their available points, confirmation times will be faster than ever, and they’ll no longer need a stay certificate to check in.
