Blount Small Ship Adventures has three new cruises for 2015.

The itineraries, to begin next spring, include The Big Apple to the U.S. Capital: New York to D.C., D.C. to Boston and Two Nation Vacation: Maine & New Brunswick.

On the new 2015 cruises, travellers can explore the best the Atlantic Coast has to offer, from major metropolises to seaside villages, all while enjoying Blount’s small ship intimacy. Guests who book by Oct. 31 will receive 15% off all 2015 cruises.

The Big Apple to the U.S. Capital: New York to D.C. carries passengers from New York City to the D.C. area, with stops in some of the East Coast’s most historic and scenic cities. The eight-night cruise departs May 22, June 1, 11 and 21, with alternating departures and arrivals between New York City and Alexandria, Va.

Along the way, guests can partake in historical and cultural excursions, including a walking tour of Manhattan’s Chelsea district, a visit to the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia and a stop at a Baltimore waterfront restaurant. While the cruise docks in Alexandria, Va., passengers can take in the city’s many sights, as well as venture to D.C. to visit the capital’s most iconic landmarks. Rates start at $2,999 p.p.

The D.C. to Boston itinerary allows guests to explore Washington D.C., Alexandria, Va., Baltimore, Md., Philadelphia, Pa., New York, N.Y., New London, Conn., Newport, R.I. and Boston, Mass. while aboard the Grande Mariner.

The ship embarks in Alexandria, Va. on June 11 and spends 11 nights sailing 15 East Coast waterways. Highlights of the cruise include a Captain’s Cocktail Party with live musical entertainment in Alexandria, a day at sea in the New York Harbor with views of the city skyline and a trip to the world’s largest maritime museum, Mystic Seaport in Connecticut. Rates for the cruise start at $3,999 p.p.

The Two Nation Vacation: Maine & New Brunswick itinerary introduces passengers to the coastal towns of Maine and Atlantic Canada. They include Digby, NS; and Saint John, Grand Manan and St. Andrews-by-the-Sea, NB, as well as Eastport, Bar Harbour, Rockland, Bath and Portland, Maine.

A welcome dinner and celebration with local entertainment marks the start of the voyage. Many of the highlights of the trip incorporate local cultural offerings, whether it’s live Acadian music in Digby, a bagpiper and Mountie at arrival in St. Andrews-by-the-Sea or an “Evening of the Arts” at local galleries in Eastport. The Grande Caribe sets sail July 22, Aug. 2, 14 and 25, with departures from Saint John, N.B. and Portland, Maine. The Aug. 2 departure of the itinerary is the annual President’s Cruise, which gives guests the chance to explore Maine and New Brunswick alongside Nancy Blount, President of Blount Small Ship Adventures. Rates for the nine-night cruise begin at $3,749 p.p.

All Blount cruises include three meals daily with menus that often reflect the local cuisine, refreshments and snacks 24-hours a day, plus guest lectures and workshops. Blount cruises also feature a BYOB policy, with mixers and set-ups for cocktails available throughout the day, along with complimentary house wine and beer offered during lunch and dinner.
