Canvin Joins Goway

Industry veteran Craig Canvin has joined Goway Travel, taking on the new position of vice-president, UK-Europe.

Goway president Bruce Hodge told PressToday that Canvin will start his new role on Nov. 27 with the goal of bringing the Europe division to the same prominence as the company’s South Pacific division within the next three years.

“We have been searching for six months for the right person,” said Hodge. “In the process, we came to realize the potential for UK-Europe to be as big as our Australia & South Pacific program.”

Canvin is a veteran travel executive with more than 30 years of experience developing unique, inspirational travel experiences for travellers on all budgets. Before coming to Goway, he held senior positions at Kensington Tours and with Thomas Cook’s Independent Travel Division focusing on Holiday House, Fun Sun Tours and Intair Vacations.
