Moana Surfrider Set To Celebrate

Everybody loves a party and the Moana Surfrider – a Westin Resort & Spa – certainly has a lot to celebrate this year.

The resort was the first hotel to welcome visitors along Waikiki’s famous shores, and it’s celebrating the fact that it has been doing it for over 11 decades with a special concert by the legendary Robert Cazimero on its 116th birthday, March 11.

Cazimero will perform in the Moana Banyan Courtyard in two separate, 45-minute segments.

Cazimero, along with his brother Roland were known collectively as the Brothers Cazimero, and both are credited as being instrumental in the resurgence of Hawaiian music and culture that began in the 1970s.

Throughout its history, the First Lady of Waikiki has featured some of the best in island music beneath the renowned Banyan Tree.

Today, the Moana Surfrider is known for its Afternoon Tea along the Veranda, as well as its remarkable dining experiences at Beachhouse at the Moana, Vintage 1901 and Beach Bar.
