Emirates celebrates stopover anniversary

Emirates is celebrating the one-year anniversary of its Dubai Stopover program out of Canada. The carrier reports that in its first year in market, the hotel and sightseeing package has exceeded sales targets by an average of 50% across Canada, with particularly strong growth from western Canada. Commenting on the success of the program, Emirates’ manager Canada, Don McWilliam said: “Canadians appreciate a one-stop package that offers a wide range of accommodations, UAE visa support and first class service on the ground and in flight.” For Canadians, the Dubai Stopover program offers hotel stays from US$39 per person per night and passengers can choose from a full range of hotels and apartments in the city or on the beach, self-catered to six-star luxury. Kompas Express, which is the dedicated provider of the Dubai Stopover package for Canada, reports that Canadians have booked a variety of accommodations as part of the program with the following proving to be the most popular choices — the Sofitel Jumeirah Beach; the Ascot Hotel; the Holiday Inn Dubai International Airport. As well, the Dune Safari by 4×4 and the Dinner Under the Arabian Stars are popular additions for Canadians purchasing the stopover program. Kompas Express president, Robert Zuzek observed: “The success of this program has rested on a strong partnership and a spectacular product punctuated by personalized service.” For booking and further information contact Kompas Express at (416) 534-8891, toll-free at 1-800-387-6731 or via email at [email protected].
