Gator Getaway
Lemon Tree Inn, a boutique hotel in Naples, Florida, offers a Gator Getaway that brings guests up close and personal with the creatures that live in Everglades National Park.
Alligators, crocodiles, sharks and more than 400 species of birds and dozens of endangered species call this part of the world home. The Gator Getaway includes a scenic four-hour kayaking excursion through the Everglades with professional guides from Everglades Area Tours, an outfitter based in Everglades City about 35 minutes from Naples.
Through Dec. 14, the Gator Getaway package is US$440 for two nights, double occupancy. The package is US$560 Dec. 15 through April 14, 2015. Gratuities, transfers and taxes are not included.
