Globus Increases European Options

In 2017, Globus is featuring more than 480 vacations to 81 countries worldwide, including four new tours to Norway, Iceland, Germany and Ireland.

On the new seven-day “Best of Norway” excursion, travellers get to explore Oslo, Gol, Borgund, Flåm, Bergen and more, including spending an overnight at the historic hotel Ullensvang, nestled ideally between the Hardanger Fjord and mountains and taking a ride on the world famous Flåm railway.

Also new is Globus’ six-day “Gems of Iceland” tour, which invites travellers to discover the fiery geothermal wonders and warm hospitality of the people in the “Land of Fire & Ice.” This tour includes a whale-watching boat cruise and a walking tour through rift valley, as well as taking in waterfalls in Gullfos, Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss while also enjoying a day at Lake Jökulsárlón.

The new nine-day “From Ireland’s Ancient East to the Wild Atlantic Way” option includes time spent in Dublin, Kilkenny, Blarney, Limerick and more, including riding the Waterford & Suir River Railway before touring the House of Waterford Crystal, boating to Garinish Island, admiring thatched cottages in Adare and taking in the sights of the Cliffs of Moher.

Globus has also enhanced its “Local Favorites” options for Europe in 2017, including enjoying the “top of Europe” via the Jungfrau Massif (Spectacular Switzerland); and taking a four-wheel drive to the sand dune of Erg Chebbi (Spain, Portugal & Morocco).

Globus’ sister company Cosmos is also offering six European vacations for less than $1,000 (airfare excluded) in 2017. They are: Irish Explorer; Lisbon, Seville & Madrid; Prague, Vienna & Budapest; Best of the Netherlands; Grand Tour of Turkey; Highlights of Morocco.

Travellers booking a Globus 2017 Europe vacation before Nov. 29 will enjoy the best prices of the year, including 10% off per person. Cosmos travellers will receive a $50 discount when booking Oct. 25.
