Moon Palace Introduces KidZania Go!

Moon Palace Arena

Mexico’s Palace Resorts has announced the addition of KidZania Go! to the summer programming of its signature Cancun property, Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort.

From July 6 through Aug. 17, the AAA Four Diamond resort will transform the property’s Moon Palace Arena into a play-paradise. KidZania, an interactive and educational recreation experience, provides children four to 12 years of age with an introduction to skills and lessons that will serve them for life.

KidZania gives children and their parents a safe, unique and realistic educational environment that allows them to role-play by mimicking traditionally adult activities. As in the real world, children can perform “jobs” and are paid for their work as a fireman, doctor, police officer, journalist or even a shopkeeper. Available twice daily from10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., KidZania Go! participants will be attended to by trained professionals who guide the young guests through activities and challenges.

The price for KidZania Go! is $85 per child and $55 per adult. Guests have the option of using their resort credits to purchase admission for KidZania via on property Palace Vacation Planners. As an added benefit for value-conscious families seeking summer vacation destinations, Palace Resorts’ Kids Stay Free promotion is available through Aug. 31, where children 12 and under play, eat and stay for free.

KidZania opened its first location in Mexico City in 1999 and has 24 locations worldwide, including Dubai and Tokyo. Upon entering the indoor theme park, children have the chance to select activities from nearly 100 occupations, ranging from police officer to dentist, learn what the job entails and begin discovering the ins and outs of life.

With every task completed, children earn “kidZos,” the official currency of KidZania, which may be spent on a variety of products or services. KidZania Go! features 30 establishments, including a beauty salon, theatre, television station, radio station, supermarket, bank, fire station, culinary school and hospital.

The Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort is nestled between 123 acres of tropical foliage and secluded white-sand beach. The property recently underwent a $100-million enhancement project which included upgrades and renovations to the restaurants, guest rooms, lobbies and more. It offers guests more than 2,400 waterside and garden view accommodations or golf villa suites. Multiple pools are complemented by two children’s pools, one Golf Club pool, six whirlpools and four swim-up bars.
