South Florida’s PGA National Resort & Spa – home of the PGA TOUR Honda Classic and former Ryder Cup venue – is once again rolling out its “Summer Escape and Play” package for golf vacations at “exceptional off-season rates.”

Featuring more than $300 in extra incentives, Summer Escape and Play starts at US$89.50 per night (per person, double occupancy) and runs from May 22 to Sept. 30. It includes luxury accommodations with private balcony or terrace; one round of golf per day on the Palmer, Fazio, Squire or Estates courses; full daily breakfast at the Palm Terrace; complimentary daily replay round (reserved on day of play only); 50% discount on daily golf clinics; access to Waters of the World mineral pools; unlimited range balls and golf bag storage. The Champion Course may be played for a $75 surcharge.

The destination is the only resort in Florida with five championship courses. It also has the unique distinction of being home to both the David Leadbetter Golf Academy and Dave Pelz Scoring Game School, along with offering a PGA TOUR-level fitting experience at the PGA National Club Fitting Lab.

At the off-site Estates Course, PGA National offers “Every Ball Counts” – the world’s first science-based, statistics-driven training system for golf improvement. The package is subject to a $30 cart fee (per person, per day) as well as a daily $25 resort fee which covers wireless Internet access, self-parking, Health and Racquet Club access (including most fitness classes/tennis court times), daily newspaper, in-room coffee/tea service and two welcome drinks at iBAR. Advance tee times are recommended.
