Passengers of NexusTours are now able to access free Wi-Fi during airport transfers or enroute to and from excursions while on board one of NexusTours’ modern, branded vehicles.

As a destination management services provider, NexusTours offers multiple types of transportation to suit the needs of every traveller and this new capability allows passengers to stay connected in transit. NexusTours’ fleet operates in major tourist hubs in Mexico including Cancun, Riviera Maya, Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta in addition to other popular travel destinations such as Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Panama and Costa Rica.

NexusTours services a global customer base and is the official destination management company for Sunwing and Signature Vacations.

Ruben Gutierrez, managing director of NexusTours, said: “Smartphones are now the go-to method when sharing your experiences while travelling. We know that Wi-Fi will be useful, whether it’s an executive checking their email, couples sending messages to family or friends sharing photos and videos after an exhilarating experience.”

The process of adding on board Wi-Fi capability will roll out in phases.

To begin, Wi-Fi will be included on transfers operated by dedicated NexusTours vehicles in Cancun and Riviera Maya, Mexico.

Access will be added to the NexusTours branded fleet in Dominican Republic and Jamaica during the first quarter of 2016 followed by more destinations including Panama, Costa Rica, Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta in the near future.

This new service will also make it easier for customers to download the NexusTours’ Connect2Nexus app during their transfer to access exclusive promotions, browse and book excursions for the best price guaranteed, and more.
