Super Value Tours Expands Into Peru In 2018

Super Value Tours is expanding its tour program for 2018 with the addition of Peru, South America.

The nine-day, eight-night journey gives travellers a chance to visit Peru’s capital and gastronomic centre, Lima; the ancient capital and stronghold of the Inca Empire, Cusco and the Sacred Valley; the highest navigable body of water in the world, Lake Titicaca; and Machu Picchu.

Two departures are scheduled – June 29 and Oct. 12.

“We designed this Peru tour to combine all the best highlights into a comfortable, relaxing and breathtaking experience,” say officials. “One of our biggest differentiators from other tour operators is how we plan our itinerary at Machu Picchu – we purposely schedule the site visit in the late afternoon when most tourists have left for the day and therefore offer our guests an uninterrupted experience without the bustling crowd. Our guests spend the night at the exclusive Belmond Sanctuary Lodge, the only hotel conveniently located mere footsteps away from the entrance to Machu Picchu. Not only does this convenience allow guests to quickly settle in for a good night’s rest after their adventuring, but it also grants our guests an opportunity to effortlessly return to the ruins early in the morning to witness the sunrise if they so choose.”

All hotels used in Peru are five-star luxury properties, including the Belmond Palacio Nazarenas in Cusco.

Another highlight is travel from Cusco to Lake Titicaca aboard the new, luxurious Belmond Andean Explorer train.
