TPI Gears Up For Canada Summits

Travel Professionals International is gearing up for its annual summit events which will take place across Canada from May 4 to May 14, 2016.

The events will make stops in 9 major centres and feature training sessions and networking opportunities, with organizers indicating that over 350 travel advisors will attend the summits.

Morris Chia, TPI president & CEO, observed: “This annual trek is an important connection point between our preferred partners, our senior management, and our advisors across the country as we continue to lead and innovative in the independent travel advisor space.”

TPI’s vice-president, Tim Morgan, national director of sales, Christine Winchester and senior operations manager, Sheila Lamirande will be traveling across the country to deliver industry and TPI-specific updates on new programs and services.

As well, regional sales managers, Linda Dinsmore (Western Canada), Rhonda LaFosse (Ontario), and Lisa Geddes (Atlantic Canada), will be hosting best practice group exercises and multiple preferred partner presentations.

Following the daytime events, advisors are able to network with their peers and preferred partner representatives during a cocktail and trade show event plus take part in an exclusive dinner for TPI’s top producing advisors.

TPI’s 2016 Summits are scheduled for Winnipeg on May 4; Edmonton on May 5; Calgary on May 6; Saskatoon on May 7; Vancouver on May 9; Ottawa on May 11; Toronto on May 12; St. John’s on May 13; and Halifax on May 14.

This year’s summits are presented by Air Canada and Air Canada Vacations; with further support being provided by Allianz Global Assistance and Transat Holidays/Nolitours, among others.
