Discovering the Wonders of Israel

The wonders of Israel are now available from Transat, which has unveiled its newly launched program of guided tours and packages designed to allow travellers to discover Tel Aviv many other touristic attractions in and around the Middle East country.

Transat packages will be available as of mid-June.

Three guided tours will allow travellers to holiday worry-free and to fully explore Israel thanks to the expertise of professional guides. According to officials, “with proven itineraries, strategically located three- or four-star hotels, experienced guides, air-conditioned coaches and a wide variety of inclusions (such as certain meals), Transat’s guided tours offer travellers complete peace of mind, all while showing them the best that Israel has to offer.”

  • Bible Land (available in English only): This guided tour invites travellers to discover the Bible’s holiest sites. They will explore Cana, where Jesus performed the miracle of the wine; visit Tabgha, the site of the miraculous Multiplication of Loaves and Fishes; and marvel at the room where the Last Supper was held, on Mount Zion. A swim in the salty waters of the Dead Sea makes the experience even more memorable.
  • Wonders of Israel and Jordan (available in French only): Travellers can journey through thousands of years of history with this guided tour centred around the most magnificent treasures of Israel and Jordan. From Herod’s ancient palace to the red-rose city of Petra to the ruins of Caesarea, travellers will explore some of the most fascinating archaeological sites in the world. And they’ll spend a few days in Jerusalem to discover its holy sites, souks and museums.
  • Wonders of Israel (available in French only): This fascinating tour in the heart of Israel will lead travellers to the discovery of the holiest sites of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Travellers will journey through the Judean Desert and swim in the Dead Sea, as well as explore Jerusalem and its mythical sites, from the Western Wall to the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. They will also discover Galilee and end their holiday in Tel Aviv.

A Discover Tel Aviv & Jerusalem tour is also available.

Air Transat will be offering direct flights – aboard A330-300 aircraft – from Montreal to Tel Aviv. Also available from Toronto with a connection in Montreal, this flight will operate twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays, from June 18 until the end of October.
