TravelBrands Says Thanks

Networking, fun and prizes, as well as a little education, were the order of the day as TravelBrands held its annual Agent Appreciation event last night (April 4) at Paramount in Woodbridge, Ont.

More than 500 agents attended the Toronto event and were treated to a tradeshow, entertainment, food and lots of prizes. Workshops on TravelBrands’ popular agent portal, Access, were also available.

TravelBrands’ president Frank DeMarinis told PressToday that the evening was all about thanking agents and industry partners, as well as an opportunity to promote the newly enhanced Access tool, which was launched a year ago in April 2016.

“We’ve created a tool that allows agents to work smarter, not harder,” said DeMarinis.

The user-friendly, newly enhanced Access allows agents to access and manage all files, including checking on availability and booking product – all in one place.

DeMarinis said Access was designed exclusively for agents giving them hundreds of thousands of travel options at their fingertips.

What’s new:

  • Live chat to help with all technical questions;
  • Flexibility with the Multi-destination functionality for land only and packages;
  • My Bookings Page provides travel partners access to their files, applying payment, file status, forms, agency commission, their BDM information and more, all in a single space;
  • e-flyers and other marketing tools that can be personalized.

“We are all about travel agents. This past year I challenged the team to come up with a strategy that would empower our travel partners – one that focuses on the agent community and providing the tools essential to closing a sale: to make bookings faster, to access all the information needed quickly and efficiently, better customer service,” added DeMarinis. “At the end of the day, time is precious and our role is to help our retail partners maximize every minute of every day. Whether you are looking for an air ticket, accommodation, hotels, tours or car rentals, we have it all and so much, all in one simple transaction.”

Similar Appreciation nights are upcoming in Ottawa (tonight), Montreal (April 6), Edmonton (April 11) and Vancouver (April 12).
