Ghent Light Festival
Ghent Light Festival From 10 to 14 November 2021, the long-awaited fifth Ghent Light Festival will once again light up the city. The first edition was held ten years ago.
32 light art installations to Ghent, which will be put on display at a total of 35 locations. Four of them are the public’s favorites from the past 10 years, which will return in a slightly changed form to surprise the public again.

The free festival will start every day at 7 pm and will end at midnight.
The route does not have a fixed starting point or finish, visitors can start the walk anywhere.

Winterglow in Bruges
Winterglow From 26 November 2021 to 9 January 2022, Winterglow will take place for the third time. After a year of restrained festivities, the city of Bruges aims to pull out all the stops for this edition.

Thirteen light installations will once again be scattered around the city: the ice-skating rink and the cozy winter bar will become a winter hotspot and the Christmas market on the Market Square, Simon Stevin Square and ‘t Zand Square will be given a completely new look.

Bruges Bruges wins sixth place in Condé Nast’s The Best Cities in the World: 2021 Readers’ Choice Awards.

The market-leading travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler based these awards on the ratings and reviews of more than 800,000 readers of their recent travel experiences.
These results show which destinations Condé Nast readers longed for most when they couldn’t travel and decided to visit first as soon as they were able to.

KMSKA Antwerp reopening in 2022
KMSKA Antwerp The countdown is on! Yes, September 25th, 2022 will be the day! The long-awaited day that the KMSKA in Antwerp, the Royal Museum of Fine Arts, will finally reopen its doors to the public. We have been eagerly looking forward to this date after a long renovation period. A feeling of excitement is rising in and around the KMSKA.

The KMSKA was founded in 1810. The museum houses an extensive collection of sculptures and paintings from the 14th to the 20th century. It has been closed for renovations since 2011.

Europalia Arts Festival: Trains & Tracks
Train Station Step on board for EUROPALIA TRAINS & TRACKS, from 14 October 2021 to 15 May 2022! EUROPALIA dedicates an edition to the train, an invention that shaped society and appears to be playing a leading role again today.

EUROPALIA TRAINS & TRACKS presents a multidisciplinary program of over 70 projects—mostly new creations and residencies—spread across artistic institutions but also, and especially, to be discovered in stations and on trains, in Belgium and in neighboring countries. Situated in the north of Belgium, Flanders boasts six beautifully preserved historic cities:
Antwerp, Bruges, Brussels, Ghent, Leuven, and Mechelen.
