Learn Everything You Need To Know To Earn More WIth NCL!

Dear Valued Travel Partner,

This email contains important information. Please read it in its entirety.

To showcase our industry-leading commitment to the travel advisor community worldwide, Norwegian Cruise Line is excited to announce that beginning in 2023, travel advisors will earn commission on non-commissionable fares (NCFs).

“Our travel partners are incredibly important to us and our business; it is a true partnership. Advisors know why NCL offers the best cruise experience at sea, and when they can speak to our unique, bucket-list itineraries, one-of-a-kind Free at Sea promotion, and incredible 18-ship fleet with unparalleled onboard offerings, they are providing immense value to the business. We see this value, and we wanted to reward our travel advisors like never before.”

Investing in you, our valued travel partners, is a critical pillar of our Partners First philosophy. NCL is committed to being the easiest cruise line to do business with and is invested in supporting the growth of the travel partner community. We do this by providing educational tools, promotions, and marketing assets to help grow your business, and paying commission on NCFs further solidifies that dedication.

“Our Partners First philosophy remains top of mind, and our decision to pay commission on NCFs is further proof of our commitment to this community. We want our partners to thrive; we want to see their businesses grow all around the world.”

Harry Sommer
NCL President and CEO

The new NCF commission policy is effective January 1, 2023, for new and existing reservations made outside of final payment (120 days prior to sailing), on sailings departing May 1, 2023, and beyond.

In the name of partnership and showcasing a commitment to mutual support, travel agencies need to submit an NCF marketing plan on Norwegian Central to be eligible to earn commission on NCFs.

These marketing plans must be submitted by agency administrators via Norwegian Central by December 31st, 2022.

1.

The first and most important step is for agency administrators to submit an NCF marketing plan for 2023 via Norwegian Central by December 31, 2022. To submit this plan, select the “NCF MKTG Form” button, found under the BOOK column on Norwegian Central’s homepage.

2.

If you are unsure whether you need to submit a plan, or have questions about NCF commission in general, search “Commission” on Norwegian Central’s NCL Help to review the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). The FAQs can be found in the files section in the top right corner of the NCL Help article and contain a step-by-step guide explaining how to submit your agency’s NCF marketing plan successfully.

3.

Once a marketing plan is submitted via the NCF marketing form on Norwegian Central, start booking your clients for NCL cruises leaving May 1, 2023, and beyond!
