Cracow

One of the oldest cities in Poland, the former capital of the country. It is located by the river Vistula, in southern Poland. It boasts many impressive architectural monuments, art museums, galleries and romantic cafes and restaurants. It is home to about 800 thousand people, though this figure is not very accurate. Cracow is an important business hub and the biggest outsourcing center in Poland.

Wroclaw

Wroclaw, the capital of Lower Silesia, is the fourth city in Poland in terms of number of inhabitants. It is located between the Odra river and its tributaries Oława, Widawa and Ślęza, and along with its waterways, bridges and sluices it constitutes the Wrocław Water System. For this reason the city is sometimes called the Venice of the North, similarly to Amsterdam or Stockholm, as well as the city of a thousand churches and bridges, although this number may be a bit exaggerated.

Gdansk

The capital of Pomorskie voivodeship is an important cultural center and one of the most beautiful cities of Poland. Numerous monuments and tourist attractions located in the Main City, Old Town, Wrzeszcz, Oliwa and on Sobieszewska Island, as well as the proximity of the Baltic Sea and its location in the Żuławy Wiślane contribute to the fact, that the city is visited by hundreds of thousands of tourists from Poland and abroad every year. About 1/4 of the city is covered in greenery.

Copenhagen

The capital city of Denmark has been dominating various rankings of friendliness, both for inhabitants and newcomers, for many years. It is located on the coast of Zeeland lowlands and in the northern part of Amager, an island crossed by numerous canals. The symbol of the city is the famous Little Mermaid, created as a monument to the most famous of the Danes, Hans Christian Andersen. The tourists love taking photos with the character, calmly overlooking the waters of the Sund strait. Some claim that the Copenhagen Mermaid is a relative of the Warsaw Mermaid – both were supposed to come from the depths of the sea near Gdańsk, and then split ways. The majority of landmarks of Copenhagen are within 2 kilometers of the harbor.

Zagreb

The capital of Croatia is very popular among tourists from all over the world. They are attracted by an impressive number of wonderful monuments and picturesque landscapes. The city is located by the river Sava and at the foot of the Medvednica Mountains, which makes it the perfect place for active relaxation and staying in touch with nature. Although many associate Croatia mostly with sandy beaches, you could say about Zagreb that it is distinguished mostly by its unprecedented cultural and historical heritage, though the local attractions associated with sport, recreation and entertainment are equally inviting.

Cluj-Napoca

Cluj-Napoca is a real gem on the tourist map of Romania. The city is the biggest hub in the region of Transylvania in the north western part of this country, it is also called the capital of Transylvania. Cluj-Napoca is most of all the heart of Romanian industry, but also a place that is important for the academia, considering its many active universities. A trip to Romania is a good idea for everyone, from students to businessmen.
