Rendez-vous Canada is back and better than ever!

What’s New at RVC2023

Registration is now open for this year’s Rendez-vous Canada (RVC) which will be taking place in the breathtaking Québec City from May 30 – June 2. RVC is Destination Canada’s signature international tourism marketplace produced in partnership with the Tourism Industry Association of Canada. This year the event will be cohosted by Bonjour Québec and Destination Québec cité, who are thrilled to welcome international Buyers and Sellers to the city.

The destination is excited to showcase the beauty, breathtaking landscapes, culture and warmth of the Québécois at tourism’s premier event this year!

Taking place at the Québec City Convention Centre, RVC is bringing back the seller-seated format, with appointments between Buyers and Sellers to be pre-scheduled to ensure maximum impact and to give attendees the opportunity to build solid connections and engage in meaningful business to business meetings. This format signals to the world that Canada is excited to welcome visitors as it always has – with glowing hearts.

Join us once again at Canada’s premier tourism marketplace in one of North America’s oldest and most beautiful cities. Bon voyage!

Quebec City Rolls out the welcome mat for RVC2023

The spotlight will shine anew on this one-of-a-kind city at the 2023 premier international tourism marketplace of Canada.“In 2020, we indicated that the cancellation of Rendez-vous Canada in our destination was only a postponement. So, we are happy to welcome this grandiose and major event for the tourism industry in 2023,” says Robert Mercure, General Manager of Destination Québec cité. “In addition to providing a memorable immersion in an authentic French-speaking culture, Destination Québec cité invites travel professionals from around the world and members of the Canadian tourism industry to be surprised by the different personalities and accents of Québec City.”

Originally known by its Iroquoian name, Stadaconé, Québec was given its current name in 1608 and is derived from an Algonquin word meaning “where the river narrows.” The city is ready to engage RVC2023 attendees with its history and landscape as they connect with each other, as well as travel trade media and destination marketing companies.

Delegates can enjoy the sites and splendor of the city and its surrounding area, including the Historic District of Old Québec – a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. “Hosting an event of the importance of Rendez-vous Canada demonstrates to what extent the Québec industry is ready to reach new heights and distinguish itself in the new reality of international tourism,” says Martin Soucy, CEO of Alliance de l’industrie touristique du Québec, which represents the province’s tourism industry. “Beyond Québec City, all of our regions can be both proud and enthusiastic about the visibility and significant benefits that this event will bring to our destination over the coming years.”

New Year, New Website

Since last year’s successful hybrid RVC+2022 in Toronto, the team behind Canada’s premier international marketplace has been hard at work behind-the scenes to deliver an even more extraordinary online experience for registrants. Destination Canada and the Tourism Industry Association of Canada are excited to announce that the new website is now live. You’ll find a new layout, streamlined content, and easier-to-find information on the new site – all waiting to be explored!

Together, we look forward to welcoming more than 1,500 attendees this year. And the best part? RVC2023 will take place 100% in person. Check out our new website, register early, and be sure to join us from May 30 – June 2 at the Québec City Convention Centre for an exciting week filled with learning, connection and plenty of time for fun.

RVC’s discounted room rates can be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis as long as availability lasts. We encourage Sellers to book accommodation at one of our official RVC Host Hotels here.

Can I register as a seller without a booth package?
No. The primary delegate and booth package is a pre-requisite if the seller company wants an additional delegate registration. Sellers cannot register as an additional seller delegate without having a booth.

How can I purchase a one-day seller registration?
One-day registrations for sellers will become available on May 1, 2023. The company registration contact will be able to purchase one-day registrations through their MyRVC account once available.
