Important Accommodation Reminder for
RVC 2025: Confirm Your Stay

The Rendez-vous Canada (RVC) Project Office secured discounted hotel rates in Winnipeg for Buyers, Travel Media, and Sellers attending this year’s event. These accommodations were offered on a first-come, first-serve basis and subject to availability.

Sellers were directed to book hotels through the official RVC website. Please note that the RVC room block includes a no-walk clause, ensuring your booking is guaranteed. If you booked your accommodation outside the official RVC block, whether through a third-party travel site or directly with a hotel, your reservation is not covered by this guarantee. With this in mind, we strongly encourage you to reconfirm your reservation with your hotel as soon as possible to ensure your stay.

If you have any questions, please contact the RVC office. We look forward to seeing you in Winnipeg!

Environmental, economic, and socio-cultural sustainability have become important considerations in event planning. At Rendez-vous Canada, our priorities are no different. Our goal is to exemplify sustainability best practices as much as possible across the event, while also increasing attendee awareness.

With this in mind, we, along with our hosts, have incorporated a number of different ways we can prioritize the planet. One of these ways is our walking tours, departing from select RVC hotels every morning throughout the event. All official RVC hotels and off-site social events are located within 2.5 km of each other, so this is a great opportunity to get those steps in.

Our RVC 2025 host volunteers will lead you over to the convention centre while giving you an opportunity to stretch your legs and take in some fresh air. Walking-tour durations vary based on starting point, but don’t worry, they’re all aligned with the Rendez-vous schedule so you won’t miss any of your marketplace appointments!

For more information on the walking tours, visit the RVC site. (scroll to the bottom)

Sponsor Spotlight: Spirit Bear Lodge

Spirit Bear Lodge is excited to sponsor RVC 2025 as it coincides with a few major events for us. We are thrilled to announce that, for 2027, we are relaunching our spring season for the first time since COVID. We are opening an online store with a portion of every dollar spent going directly to research and conservation efforts in The Great Bear Rainforest. And to top it off we are premiering a short documentary about the Lodge at Friday’s lunch—we hope everyone can join us!

Spirit Bear Lodge comes from humble beginnings going back to 1996. It has evolved over the years to become a globally recognized model for Indigenous-owned and -led tourism that promotes a conservation-based economy. We take an innovative approach to ethical tourism, seeking ways to improve, educate, and make meaningful change in our world.

When you visit Spirit Bear Lodge you are choosing more than a holiday, you are choosing to uplift the Kitasoo Xai’xais people and our culture. We are proud to protect and steward our land and our ocean for future generations; we see tourism as an important part of that future.

Come join us on the showroom floor at booth 408 and don’t miss Friday's lunch. Looking forward to connecting with all of you at #RVC2025!
