Rendez-vous Canada 2025 is officially underway! Appointments are now open, with the marketplace floor abuzz with activity.
This morning, the marketplace floor officially opened with a special welcoming ceremony by members of local Indigenous communities. The ceremony took place at the Destination Canada and Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada (ITAC) booth, and served as a reminder of the land we occupy and the role we play as stewards.
Remember that you can find your way around by using the interactive booth map on the free RVC Mobile App. Still haven’t downloaded the app? It’s not too late. Click here for more info.
Warm Winnipeg Welcome at Opening Reception
Before we get into today's agenda, let's take a minute to reflect on yesterday! What an amazing opening reception at the Assiniboine Park Zoo and The Leaf! Delegates were able to view Journey to Churchill, the world-class Arctic species exhibit, and gaze in wonder at Canada’s tallest indoor waterfall. Thanks so much to our hosts Tourism Winnipeg and Travel Manitoba, as well as our sponsors, the Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada, Tourism Richmond, and Bandwango, for providing such an enchanting space to connect with colleagues both old and new.
RVC Delegates Explore the City
If these photos are anything to go by, the Winnipeg city tours proved a tremendous success. We hope you had as much on them as our hosts did organizing them!
