RVC 2026

When you join us at Rendez-vous Canada in Toronto next month, you may notice something a bit different.

In advance of our 50th anniversary next year, we’re introducing a refreshed look that puts Canada front and centre while capturing our energy, connection and pride in hosting guests from around the world.

From the moment you arrive in Toronto—at the airport, in your hotel, throughout the convention centre and at our off-site events—you’ll see the new design come to life. It’s all part of creating a more seamless, welcoming experience that feels unmistakably Canada.

Keep an eye out as you move through the city. This is just the beginning of your journey with us.

For the first time, Destination Canada and the Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC), co-producers of Rendez-vous Canada, have come together to create a fully integrated Canada Hub in the marketplace.

Designed as a collaborative space, the Canada Hub offers delegates the opportunity to connect directly with representatives from both organizations, explore national programs and initiatives, and access support to help maximize your Rendez-vous Canada experience.

Whether you’d like to test out the Canadian Tourism Data Collective, are interested in market insights, industry programs and partnership opportunities, or a place to meet and connect, the Canada Hub is your go-to space for national initiatives throughout the event.

Destination Canada and the Tourism Industry Association of Canada are excited to introduce Educational Spotlight Sessions to the agenda this year.

These 10-minute presentations, taking place at the Canada Hub on the marketplace floor, will help Sellers make the most of their time between appointments.
  • TIAC’s sessions will cover key initiatives, including the READI™ Program and a new hub for tourism emergency preparedness.
  • DC sessions will provide Sellers with hands-on, practical strategies to get the most out of Destination Canada’s tools, including how to optimize their business for AI-driven search and how to enable smarter decision-making with Aurora AI.
The purpose of these sessions is to add value to Sellers and help you optimize your Rendez-vous Canada experience and your work beyond the show floor.

The presentations will be repeated throughout the day to fit your schedules. No registration required; just drop in and join us.

See the Rendez-vous website for full session details.

The future of tourism data will be on display at Rendez-vous Canada this year!

You loved the Canadian Tourism Data Collective activation at the Destination Canada booth last year and this year it’s back with something new: Aurora AI

Layered into the Data Collective, Aurora AI is a new suite of AI-powered tools that facilitate natural-language interaction with tourism data. This will make advanced insights simple, practical, and accessible for every organization in Canada’s visitor economy:
  • With Aurora Search, you can ask questions in plain language and instantly access trusted, data-driven answers. No more digging through reports.
  • Traveller Twin transforms Destination Canada’s Traveller Segmentation Program into an interactive, AI-powered interface that brings your best guests to life. Ask questions in plain language, get clear answers, and gain a deeper understanding of audience motivations, behaviours, and preferences, which will enable smarter business decisions.
Industry partners are already seeing the impact. Using insights from the Traveller Twin, Explore Edmonton pivoted its Northern Lights campaign strategy, ultimately reaching more than 43 million people and driving nearly 1.83 million website sessions.

Have a success story of your own? Destination Canada is gathering real-world examples and testimonials to showcase the impact of Data Collective tools across the sector and boost visibility for organizations and regions like yours.

Visit the Canada Hub to speak with the team, see live Aurora AI demos, and discover how these tools can support your growth!

Small Details, Big Impact

At Rendez-vous Canada, it’s often the small, thoughtful details that make the biggest difference. Here’s one more way we’re building a more sustainable and accessible experience:

The Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) is the first convention centre in North America to use the Voyage Control app to facilitate exhibitor move-in. It allows exhibitors to easily pre-reserve a time on their mobile device for unloading exhibitor/booth materials instead of being redirected to the marshalling yard. This results in a time savings of approximately 20 minutes per exhibitor and reduces traffic and carbon monoxide emissions in the local area. As Official Show Services Provider for Rendez-vous Canada, Goodkey Show Services is overseeing the Voyage Control and working directly with the MTCC.
