What To Know Before You Go

Did you receive your “Know Before You Go” email? It’s full of useful information regarding registration, transportation, and so much more. If, for some reason, you did not receive this email, please reach out to the Rendez-vous Canada Project Office.

As part of Rendez-vous Canada 2026, we are pleased to share convenient transportation options between Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and downtown Toronto via the Union Pearson Express (UP Express).

Watch this video on the official Rendez-vous Canada website to learn how easy it is to travel between either airport (Pearson or Billy Bishop) and Union Station, which is just steps away from the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

Please refer to the MyRVC portal for instructions on how to use the Union Pearson Express (UP Express).

For those of you who registered for one of our many exciting City Tours, be sure to show up on time on Tuesday, May 26. Whether you’ll be stepping into a past civilization at the Royal Ontario Museum, touching the Stanley Cup at the Hockey Hall of Fame, or bike riding through the Toronto Islands, your day of fun and exploration awaits!

If you were unable to find time to register, you are welcome to check for last-minute availability on site, on the morning of the tours. Please meet 45 minutes ahead of the tours’ departure times at the north side (Front St. level) of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. We will do our best to accommodate you.

For more information on these tours, visit the Rendez-vous Canada site.

Last year at Rendez-vous Canada, the Canadian Tourism Data Collective activation illustrated how access to reliable tourism data can drive better decision-making and boost competitiveness.

This year, the activation will showcase Aurora AI, a suite of AI-powered tools layered into the Data Collective, making tourism insights accessible, practical and easy to use, while helping tourism businesses and destinations make smart decisions.

With Aurora Search, you can ask questions in plain language and get instant, trusted answers — no need to dig through spreadsheets. Traveller Twin transforms Destination Canada’s Traveller Segmentation Program into an interactive, AI-powered interface that brings your best guests to life. Ask questions in plain language, get clear answers, and gain a deeper understanding of audience motivations, behaviours and preferences.

Industry partners are already seeing the impact. Using insights from the Traveller Twin, Explore Edmonton pivoted its Northern Lights campaign, ultimately reaching more than 43 million people and driving nearly 1.83 million website sessions.

Now, Destination Canada wants to hear from you. Whether you’ve seen measurable growth, uncovered new audiences, or made more confident decisions using Data Collective tools, your story could be featured in upcoming campaigns, inspiring industry partners and showcasing the impact of the Data Collective.

Help shape the future of tourism data and be part of what comes next!

Visit the Canada Hub to share your story through video and written testimonials, and experience live demos of Aurora AI.

Ripley's Aquarium of Canada is pleased to offer complimentary admission to all Rendez-vous Canada delegates, as well as a 50% discount for their guests. Please show your Rendez-vous Canada badge or proof of registration in the Rendez-vous Canada App upon arrival.

Offer valid: Saturday, May 23 – Sunday, May 31

Delegates requiring assistance during Rendez-vous Canada 2026 are encouraged to visit the Service Desk, conveniently located at the “?” symbol on the Marketplace map at the top of the escalators to the left. The Service Desk team is available throughout the event to support delegates with appointment schedule questions, Marketplace navigation, and general event information.

The Service Desk will also assist delegates with accommodation-related matters and help direct inquiries to the appropriate RVC team members. Whether you need help locating a booth, understanding your schedule, or resolving an issue during the event, the team is there to ensure a smooth and successful Rendez-vous Canada experience.

We encourage all delegates to stop by if assistance is required at any point during the event. Friendly and knowledgeable staff will be available to provide support and customer service throughout the Marketplace hours.

If neither of these options is possible, please don’t hesitate to email the Rendez-vous Canada Project Office at [email protected] or call +1 613-238-4080.

Join the conversation and showcase your #RendezvousCanada2026 experience by following along on social media. Use one of our official graphics and the event hashtag to share your moments, highlight your meetings, and introduce your networks to the colleagues you’ve met. To help you do this, we’ve created a toolkit with graphics, hashtags and a list of accounts to tag!
