The appointment match-making process is now complete and your schedule has been posted in the MyRVC Portal!
If you missed out on a meeting with a company you were interested in, or would like to meet with one of our media, Destination Canada or Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) attendees, don’t fret. Manual appointment requests are now open for you to fill any remaining open slots.
You can add, modify, or cancel appointments through your MyRVC Portal or the Rendez-vous Canada mobile app, launching in May.
To maximize the time for all Buyers and Sellers, we please ask that if you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment for any reason, please cancel as far in advance as possible to allow time for the others to rebook appointments.
If you can only attend one day of Rendez-vous Canada, the deadline to register is Wednesday, May 6, 2026.
For more information on options, please consult the official Rendez-vous Canada website. We are here to help you optimize your time so that your brief attendance is still a productive one!
Join us on Tuesday, May 26, from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for Destination Canada's Inside Track -- a session that will empower you to meet with Buyers and make the most of your time at Rendez-vous Canada.
Gloria Loree, Chief Marketing Officer, will provide a high-level update on DC’s global strategy and priorities, highlighting the critical role Sellers play in delivering and scaling these shifts. Next, Devin Gallaher, Senior Executive Director, Brand Strategy and Innovation, will share how DC’s brand and content strategy is evolving, including how the brand is coming to life across markets and channels. Finally, Joe Amati, Senior Executive Director, Global Market and Brand Intelligence, will provide DC’s perspective on AI and its growing role in shaping travel and what this means for how Canada shows up in-market.
Regional breakout sessions (Asia, Europe & Australia, and US & Mexico) will follow. These concurrent 'open house' sessions will feature a Q&A period with our in-market teams. Sellers are encouraged to ask those in markets for any additional insights to fully prepare you to meet with Buyers over the coming days.
We are also developing market highlight documents of key travel trends, data, and evolving traveller behaviours. Look for these reports in a future edition of Rendez-vous Canada news!
The focus on sustainability at this year’s Rendez-vous Canada in Toronto is demonstrated by the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The venue’s sustainability program includes industry-leading waste diversion and energy-efficiency initiatives, reinforcing its position as one of North America’s most environmentally responsible convention centres.
The Convention Centre’s food and beverage program prioritizes local sourcing, with about 65% of ingredients coming from Ontario suppliers and a 100% Ontario wine and craft-beer offering. In-house preparation, seasonal menus, and food donation programs help reduce waste and environmental impact. The venue is also Feast On certified through the Culinary Tourism Alliance, North America’s largest and longest-running local food certification program that recognizes food-tourism businesses committed to sourcing Ontario-grown food and drink.
Delegates can also make low-impact choices throughout their stay. Toronto’s UP Express provides a direct rail link from Pearson Airport to downtown in just 25 minutes, while Bike Share Toronto offers a convenient, zero-emissions way to explore the city. The city’s diverse plant-forward dining scene further supports sustainable living, with a growing range of plant-based options.
