Taking a deep dive into travel disruptions
Flight Centre Travel Group’s Managing Director, Chris Lynes makes it clear that: “Travel disruptions are definitely a big hurdle,” before observing in its recent study of the phenomenon, it was found that “70% of business travellers have faced disruptions, which can really mess up their schedules and productivity.” Lynes also pointed out that: “One in ten travellers said these disruptions negatively impacted their business plans, and the emotional toll is also significant, with 65% of business travellers finding the process stressful. This highlights the need for strong travel management to smooth things out and keep everything on track.” In fact, said Lynes: “The recovery of business travel isn't just about more trips; it's about making sure those trips are as smooth and hassle-free as possible.”
