Travel Masters Acquires Mission Park Travel

Travel Masters is starting off 2017 with a strong growth and acquisition strategy. The travel company has recently entered into an agreement to acquire Mission Park Travel.

Based in Kelowna, Mission Park Travel has been in operation for over 30 years with an excellent reputation in customer service and strong sales.

With this newest acquisition, Travel Masters is excited to expand into the Okanagan, increasing their scale and penetration in Western Canada.

James Shearer, COO of Travel Masters, said:

“We are investing in travel agencies as we firmly believe in the great potential they have in this competitive market. These acquisitions make our business stronger and allows us to deliver even greater benefits to our clients. Mission Park Travel is the latest in a series of investments we are making to grow our business, extend our reach into different communities and support our suppliers and partners through growing our overall volume of sales.”

Asked about the decision to choose Travel Masters, Mission Park Travel’s owner, Gina Kotsch said she wanted to devote more time to her family but also wanted to help the agency reach its future growth potential.

Kotsch was able to find the perfect balance — staying on board as a manager and experience specialist and utilize Travel Masters for the marketing, product and business development expertise that travel agencies need in today’s climate.

“Together with Travel Masters, we will be able to provide greater value, service and offerings for our customers, while also rewarding our agents with access to more earning opportunities and higher paying commission agreements,” Kotsch stated.
