NEW VIDEO: 2025 Agents’ Choice Favourites have high praise for their advisor partners

There’s no doubt that the Favourites in the 2025 Agents’ Choice Readership Survey love their travel advisor partners.
In fact, while the annual survey gives Canadian travel advisors the opportunity to recognize their supplier favourites, in the July 7 issue of Canadian Travel Press, those suppliers made it clear that they were more than grateful to their agency partners for both the recognition of their efforts, but also for the support and partnership that advisors have demonstrated over and over again.
And without exception, the 2025 supplier favourites didn’t simply extol the virtues of their travel advisor partners, they delivered a clear message that advisors were irreplaceable and a critical part of the success of their businesses.
Shannon Cunningham, Manager, Leisure Sales for WestJet Vacations – the Favourite in the Tour Operators – Mainland USA category – observed that: “Travel advisors are on the front lines – connecting with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring every detail of a trip is just right. To be recognized by them means that our work is resonating where it truly matters: with the professionals who know the industry inside out.”
Lisa Connell, Director of Sales, Canada for Royal Caribbean International – which was voted the favourite in the Cruise Line – Mass Market category – echoed Cunningham’s comments.
“Travel advisors are at the heart of our success, and their trust means the world to us. This award reinforces our shared mission to deliver unforgettable vacations at sea—and we couldn’t be more grateful,” Connell said.
As for Michelle Lardizabal, Chief Sales Officer, North America for Azamara Cruises, being selected as the favourite (for the first time) in the Cruise Line – Luxury category “means the world to us,” because it comes from “the community we value so deeply.”
“Travel advisors are at the heart of our success – they’re the storytellers, matchmakers, and trusted guides who bring the Azamara experience to life for their clients,” Lardizabal said.
And she added: “To be chosen by them is not just an award; it’s a reflection of the trust we’ve built together and the shared passion we have for delivering unforgettable experiences.”
