5Continents, CroisiEurope host agents on Southern Italy fam

5Continents and CroisiEurope hosted 20 travel advisors and their companions for a familiarization trip aboard La Belle de l’Adriatique, an intimate 190-passenger ocean vessel designed to access smaller ports and operate beyond traditional cruise routes.
The program began in Naples, with two nights organized in partnership with 5Continents’ local Italian office. In addition to exploring the historic centre and the magnificent Teatro di San Carlo, participants immersed themselves in Neapolitan culture through an authentic pizza-making class and, for some, attendance at a UEFA Champions League match between SSC Napoli and Chelsea FC in an electrifying atmosphere.

The cruise then followed a well-balanced, overnight-in-port itinerary: Naples – Milazzo – Messina – Vibo Marina – Salerno – Naples.
Departing Naples, guests visited Pompeii, a striking testament to Antiquity. From Messina, agents explored iconic Sicily with included excursions to Taormina, perched above the Ionian Sea with views of Mount Etna.
The stop in Vibo Marina offered the discovery of Tropea, a jewel of Calabria, while Salerno served as the gateway to Amalfi and the legendary Amalfi Coast. Capri was also among the highlights, celebrated for its timeless elegance and spectacular panoramas.

All excursions were included, allowing participants to fully experience each destination without compromising on cultural depth.
Traveling in January, with mild temperatures around 14°C and notably free from peak tourist crowds, offered a rare perspective on the treasures of Southern Italy.
With 5Continents, all CroisiEurope departures can be booked for both individual travellers and groups, with the flexibility to combine customized pre- and post-cruise programs.
