Meet the ‘people behind the places’ in Insight’s ‘Encounters’ series

‘Encounters’ is Insight Vacations new multimedia content series that explores the lives of local individuals that guests meet on its tours. Encounters’ hero stories go beyond the brochure to capture the heart and soul of each destination through immersive video, editorial features, and striking photography, offering in-depth trip insights.

Lottie Norman, Global CMO of Insight Vacations, said: “We created Encounters to champion the human connections that define truly enriching travel.”

Created to elevate brand awareness and drive full-funnel engagement, the series lives on Insight’s ‘Insightful’ blog, supported by SEO-rich articles, YouTube episodes, and short-form social content, ensuring reach across channels and audiences.

The first three episodes of Encounters revolve around Alaska, where audiences get to know Martin Buser, a four-time Iditarod champion and world record-holding dog musher. Guests can meet Buser in person on Insight Vacations’ Jewels of Alaska tour.  With over 112,000 views on the lead episode, the content has already made an impression with audiences globally.
