Air Canada Vacations (ACV) has launched a new mobile site, designed to make it easier and faster for customers to seamlessly book an ACV package using any mobile device.
Now, users visiting http://www.aircanadavacations.com from a mobile device (including iOS, Android and BlackBerry) will be automatically re-directed to the mobile site, which includes a simplified booking flow and fewer fields for customers to fill in.
“More than 35% of visitors to the Air Canada Vacations’ web site come from a mobile device,” says Yves Rannou, senior director of e-commerce, Air Canada Vacations. “We developed the new site to address the unique needs of today’s mobile user, and enhance the overall Air Canada Vacations customer experience.”
Key features include: The ability to search and book packages for all destinations serviced by Air Canada Vacations; Information about package inclusions, such as flights, airport transfers and hotels; Larger images of hotels; Luggage guidelines; A “Feedback” link for users to be able to give their thoughts in the moment; Plus, Aeroplan members can add their membership number and earn 1,000s of Aeroplan Miles with every flight booked as part of an ACV package.
The mobile site has been integrated with Air Canada Vacations’ existing digital platforms, and will be available through the Air Canada app when clicking on the Air Canada Vacations button.
Subsequent phases will roll out for the mobile site throughout 2015.
