Adventure Center hits the road

Adventure Center is hitting the road with cross-Canada sessions of its Certified Adventure Travel Specialist (CATS) training program. The four hour sessions will take place in Victoria (Oct. 29), Vancouver (Oct. 30), Calgary (Oct. 31), Edmonton (Nov. 1), Halifax (Nov. 5), Ottawa (Nov. 6), London (Nov. 7) and Toronto (Nov. 8). Training sessions will cover the benefits of selling adventure travel and how to promote it; walking, trekking, cycling and safari holidays; and destination training on Africa, India, Nepal and Burma. Adventure Center’s Pat Rochon, who has travelled to over 130 countries, will be hosting the sessions. The cost of $40 includes a hearty lunch and contribution to the Canadian charity African Preschools Society.
