Red Label Breaks Black Friday, Cyber Monday Records

Red Label Vacations Inc. (RLV) is celebrating a record breaking Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales for both its wholesale and retail divisions.

Nathalie Tanious, senior vice president, RLV, said of the results: “For our wholesale division, TravelBrands wanted to give travel agents diverse offers so they could have a competitive edge in the market. We also showed our agents appreciation by giving bonus Loyalty rewards points for their bookings.”

And she added: “I am so happy that our agents and partners were able to take advantage of our Black Friday promotions. We hope that we can exceed this milestone next year.”

In case you didn’t know, RLV owns and operates multiple wholesale and retail travel brands designed for Canadian travellers. The wholesale division, TravelBrands provides travel products to agents and agencies. The retail division offers diverse travel products to consumers through online travel agencies, call centres, athome agents and physical stores. The retail brands include redtag.ca, itravel2000.com,The Travel Experts, Flights.ca and Cruises.ca.

RLV’s vice-president of retail, Dianne Jackson noted: “Our goal was to connect with our unique groups of customers and provide them with true value and savings for their next getaway. I am so proud to say we surpassed that goal and were able to have a record-breaking Black Friday sale. RLV’s retail division is continuously growing, innovating and I cannot wait to see what the future brings.”
