New Name, Same Company
Effective Jan. 27, Jade will be officially re-branding its air consolidator division. The new name for that division will be the Air Booking Center. Jade Tours remains the same and this division will continue to offer tour products from the offices in Toronto and Vancouver. Hainan Airlines says that teaming up with WestJet this past fall is quickly paying dividends for the Chinese carrier when it comes to making inroads in this country. Transat Tel Aviv Flights Available for Booking
Air Transat is advising travel agents that its new flights to Tel Aviv are now available for booking. Last week, the airline announced it will be offering direct flights from Montreal to Tel Aviv (as well as from Toronto with a connection in Montreal). The new non-stop service will operate twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Sundays, from June 18 until late October.
