Porter Airlines' electronic ticketing is now available to North American GDS travel agencies via Sabre, Apollo, Worldspan and Amadeus. Porter will continue to process reservations on both an instant purchase and E-ticket basis. Travel agencies now have a choice of maintaining instant purchase or converting to E-ticketing. In addition, all commission payments are now changed to booked revenue instead of flown revenue. Air Canada will be launching scheduled service to Red Deer, Alberta on Sept. 3, 2013 with three daily flights from Red Deer Airport to Calgary. Air Canada reports that for June, it had a system load factor of 85% per cent, versus 85.6% in June 2012. System traffic increased 2.1% on a system-wide capacity increase of 2.8%.
