Nova Star Shortens 2014 Season
Nova Star Cruises Ltd. will shorten its 2014 sailing season and focus on preparation for the 2015 season. Nova Star will make its final 2014 sailing from Portland, Maine, on Oct. 13 and arrive in Yarmouth, N.S. On Oct. 14. The originally planned final sailing was Nov. 2. As part of a new “Reuniting for Fun” group promotion, Carnival Cruise Lines is waiving its initial deposit requirement for group bookings, as well as offering an enhanced free cruise berth program, through Sept. 30. Through the new promotion, an initial deposit will not be required for group bookings on departures between March 1, 2015 and April 30, 2016.
