Carnival Corporation & plc has named David Dingle as the chairman of Carnival UK and it has promoted David Noyes -- currently executive vice president operations -- to the position of CEO, with operating responsibility for the UK-based brands P&O Cruises and Cunard Line.
Dingle and Noyes will take up their new roles on Oct. 1, 2014 and will both report to Carnival Corporation & plc president and CEO Arnold Donald.

As part of a new “Reuniting for Fun” group promotion, Carnival Cruise Lines is waiving its initial deposit requirement for group bookings, as well as offering an enhanced free cruise berth program, through Sept. 30.
