Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa delivering celebrations for every guest

This fall and winter, Saint Lucia’s Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa will be offering its guests what it describes as “a season of unforgettable celebrations” that highlight the island’s culture, vibrant entertainment, and immersive activities. From October through New Year’s Eve, the resort’s calendar overflows with signature events, island flavours, and holiday traditions designed for couples, families, groups, and solo travellers alike.

From Oct. 18 to Nov. 1, there’s the 5th Annual Rum & Rhythms Festival. Two weeks of island spirit and sound take over the resort as top Caribbean performers create a soundtrack of soca, reggae, steel pan and other irresistible rhythms. Each night, guests can sip regional rums, from Saint Lucia’s award-winning distilleries to the bold blends of Trinidad, at guided tastings on the Star Gazers Deck. Themed dinners serve rum-infused creations while mixologists shake up signature cocktails like the tropical “Saint Lucia Kiss.”

On Oct. 26, it’s Jounen Kwéyòl (Creole Day) — Saint Lucia’s heritage takes centre stage as staff and guests dress in colourful madras and the air fills with the sounds of musicians playing the Shak-Shak, Boom-Boom, and Tambos. Traditional dancers bring centuries-old steps to life, while a Creole feast showcases local favourites including Saint Lucia’s national dish Green Fig and Salt Fish, and steaming mugs of Cocoa Tea, a beloved daily beverage in Saint Lucia, best enjoyed with the ocean breeze.

On Oct. 31, it’s the Halloween Bonfire Beach Party – Beyond The Dark. Families kick off a frightfully fun evening with trick-or-treating and a CocoLand Kidz Klub costume party. Then adults in their Halloween best head to an eerie, spirited celebration under the stars with a live band, and DJ.

November is health and wellness month, all guests to embrace healthy habits that they’ll take home and enjoy year-round with a program designed to inspire and energize. Mornings begin with oceanfront yoga at sunrise or silent beach walks, afternoons with some tips with Caribbean plant-based cooking classes, aqua fitness or guided breathwork and meditation. The Sanctuary Spa offers special treatments like Aloe and Cucumber or Natures Hibiscus Botox Facial, Hot Stone or Lava Shell Massages while hydration stations, healthy menus, and a detox Island Tea Ceremony make well-being a delicious part of every day.

As for the festive season in paradise, the Coconut Bay’s annual 12 Days of Christmas brings the season to life with live entertainment, caroling, and beachside celebrations. The CocoLand Kidz Klub hosts Christmas Eve cookie-making before Christmas Day’s highlight, Santa and his elves arriving on the beach with gifts for the resort’s youngest guests, followed by music games and fun for all ages. On Boxing day, the Kidz Klub keeps the magic going with an evening Christmas Pajama Party Jam.
