Contiki Introduces New ‘Freedom Guarantee’
Contiki Holidays has introduced a new “Freedom Guarantee,” designed to represent the brand’s appreciation for its clientele’s appetite for flexibility.
The Guarantee is made up of two components – Zero Change Fees and the FlexDeposit.
Passengers booked on any Contiki trip now have the flexibility to change their chosen trip or departure with no associated fees to worry about. This means that a passenger booked to travel with Contiki has the flexibility to change their chosen trip, departure date or even the region in which they want to travel at no additional cost. If the price of the new trip is more expensive the difference will be owed and if the new trip is less expensive Contiki will refund the difference.
The FlexDeposit policy is designed to make it easier for passengers to travel with Contiki at a time that suits them. Once they have paid a deposit on any Contiki trip, FlexDeposit works as a credit towards a future Contiki adventure, should they choose to change their plans. If for any reason a passenger is unable to redeem their FlexDeposit they also have the option to gift it to a friend within five years of the original booking date.
As Contiki operates adventures for passengers between the age of 18 and 35, the FlexDeposit remains available to redeem on any Contiki trip until passengers’ 36th birthdays. For travellers aged 36 and above, it can be used with one of Contiki’s sister brands.
