Contiki Sounds

Contiki has launched two new “Sounds” trips as part of its Limited Edition series.

The two adventures were designed in partnership with one of the world’s largest summer music festivals, Reading Festival, and will offer clients a VIP festival experience.

The two limited time departures will also include additional musical experiences and the chance to witness some of the UK’s top destinations. The combination of musical education, partying at one of the world’s biggest musical festivals and immersing oneself into the distinctly “cool Britannia” culture makes these two of Contiki’s most exclusive Limited Edition trips.

Travellers opting to attend Reading Festival with Contiki eliminate the hassle and stress which can come with trying to purchase the hottest festival tickets around. The trip gives Contiki festival goers the luxury of being dropped off at the festival gates in one of Contiki’s cool coaches. And once the travellers arrive at the festival they will be based in the best location, where they can find pre-erected premium tents complete with air mattresses and sleeping bags, plus a VIP pamper zone decked out with hair dryers, straighteners and mirrors, private showers and toilets, unlimited phone charging stations and breakfast included every morning.

Both Contiki Sounds (seven days and 10 days) trips depart in August from London.

Reading Festival, the longest running festival in existence, has hosted some of the world’s most famous acts over the years, including Eminem, Green Day, Paramore, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters and Metallica. With multiple stages and a variety of rock, indie, R&B and hip-hop music, Reading promises to offer something for every traveller’s musical interests.

“We’re proud to be going to Reading Festival and showcasing England’s significant music history with a wealth of unforgettable travel experiences which cater to our travellers’ needs,” says Gabrielle Nydam, president of Contiki Canada. “The UK is always a popular destination among Canadian youth. It’s no wonder why it topped our top destinations for 2018 list in ‘The Power of Travel’ research.”
