Costa celebrates 78th with special savings and more

Costa Cruises is celebrating its 78th anniversary this month with a special ‘Birthday Sale’ promotion offering fare discounts on select 2026 and 2027 cruises to the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Northern Europe and Asia.

In honour of the cruise line’s birthday March 31, guests can book select departures and receive 30% off the cruise fare. Travellers can choose from inside, outside and balcony cabins on a variety of itineraries departing May 2026 through March 2027 when booked by April 17, 2026.

Priscilla Reyes, Costa Cruises’ head of sales for North America, said: “Costa Cruises is thrilled to invite guests to join in the festivities for our birthday and share in nearly eight decades of the Best of Italy at sea.”

And Reyes continued: “With 30% off select departures across the a variety of regions, there’s no better time for travelers to take advantage of exceptional savings and plan their next adventure with Costa.”

Featured cruises departing May 2026 through March 2027 include:

• Costa Smeralda will depart roundtrip from Savona, Italy, on a weeklong itinerary visiting Barcelona and Ibiza, Spain; Palermo and Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy; and Marseille, France. For example, Sept. 12, 2026, and July 11, 2026. On select itineraries, Cagliari, Italy, replaces Ibiza, such as the Oct. 31, 2026 cruise.
• Costa Fascinosa will depart roundtrip from La Romana, Dominican Republic, on a weeklong itinerary calling at Catalina Island, the line’s private island retreat, Puerto Plata and Arroyo Barril, all in the Dominican Republic; Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico; and Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos. For example, Dec. 27, 2026, Jan 24, 2027, and Feb. 7, 2027.
