Flexible Policies From Riviera River Cruises

Riviera River Cruises has introduced several flexible customer care policies to help instill confidence in booking European river cruises.

Among the policies are free changes to new bookings, COVID-19 Cancellation Protection and a happiness guarantee.

Marilyn Conroy, Riviera River Cruises’ executive vice president sales and marketing North America, said: “At Riviera, we’ve started sending our teams out to ensure our river cruises are ready, without compromising on the experience that we’re known and loved for. However, we do understand that recent changes to the way we travel mean your clients may need an extra bit of reassurance before booking.”

Conroy continued: “That’s why we’ve introduced these flexible policies. And, as always, we’d like to take this opportunity to remind you that Riviera is the only cruise line that can confidently say we support the travel agency community 100 percent by accepting bookings only from advisors.”

Riviera’s flexible customer care policies include:

  • New bookings may be changed once for free up to 45 days before departure, for any reason.
  • COVID-19 Cancellation Protection is included. If a client isn’t able to travel specifically due to COVID-19, the booking can be changed for free with as little as 24 hours’ notice.
  • Client will be happy by the second day or will be brought home with a refund for their cruise and any change fees or fare increases from their original airline ticket paid by Riviera.
