Flight Centre has partnered with Give A Mile, a non-profit organization that helps people visit loved ones who are critically ill or dealing with palliative illness through donated customer loyalty program points or cash.

Flight Centre kicked off the partnership by donating a flight as part of Give A Mile’s “25 Flights of Christmas Kindness.”

Flight Centre’s first donation is helping Bo, a 39-year-old father of two who has been diagnosed with Stage IV esophageal cancer. He will be flying to Ontario to spend time with his two daughters aged 2.5 years and six months and the rest of his family.

“We are thrilled to be involved with Give A Mile to help them make flights of compassion possible for families in need,” said Flight Centre’s Allison Wallace. “There is a terrific synergy with what they do and we look forward to the opportunity to help more people have the gift of time with loved ones.”

“Give A Mile is so excited to be partnered with Flight Centre and is extremely grateful for their help in making 25 Flights of Christmas Kindness possible,” said founder Kevin Crowe. “It is so great to be partnered with an organization that understands the importance of travel especially at critical times and who has been so supportive and helpful to us.”
