FLYGTA Signs Deal With Travelport

FLYGTA Airlines has signed a strategic commercial agreement with Travelport.

The new agreement follows another deal the carrier reached with SITA as FLYGTA continues to expand its capability to distribute its private jet and regular scheduled airfares and inventory to a global network of travel agency partners.

In the newly signed agreement with Travelport, FLYGTA Airlines will participate in Travelport’s next-generation platform, Travelport+ which will be the first ever private jet distribution through a Global Distribution System.

Chris Nowrouzi, CEO FLYGTA, said that: “The world will have to wait a couple of months to see what this means in today’s market reality. All I can say at this point, is that the traditional disconnect of business aviation and airlines is over. It’s a global milestone that will change the status quo.”

Jason Clarke, Chief Commercial Officer, Travel Partners at Travelport, said: “We are pleased to welcome FLYGATA into the Travelport+ network, creating an exciting opportunity for Travelport-connected buyers to easily access the carrier’s private jet and traditional air content, and provide more choice for travellers. I am confident that this first-ever private jet distribution agreement will bring significant value to agencies, corporations and travelers in North America.”
